Classical VI – The Magnificent Mendelssohn
The YSO’s season concludes with two works by Felix Mendelssohn: the overture to A Midsummer Night’s Dream and his Second Symphony, which includes a cantata featuring the Yakima Symphony Chorus. Completing the program is a work by Pacific Northwest composer Kenji Bunch, commissioned by the YSO in celebration of the orchestra’s 50th Anniversary.
